Lightship Amsterdam Hotel

We had an amazing stay celebrating New Year's at Lightship. The self-contained glass box room was soundproofed, allowing us to sleep peacefully despite the fireworks outside. The location was convenient with a quick ferry ride to Central Station. The engine room was beautifully finished with a high standard. The breakfast delivered to our door was delicious, with warm bread and croissants. The owners were responsive and helpful, providing great tips for dining and activities in the neighborhood.

The transformation of the ship into a luxurious accommodation was really good. The use of glass walls created a museum-like ambiance in the room, and the amenities provided were great. The convenience of having easy access to both the ferry and train made exploring the city even better. The highlight of our stay was definitely the contemporary double-ended bath in our room - it was relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. The breakfast spread was delicious and kept us energized throughout the day. The hosts, Alex and Nathalie, were amazing and were very good too ensure our stay was really good. I highly recommend staying at Lightship for a unique and lovely experience.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Lightship! the rooms were beautifully designed, luxurious, and spacious, with incredible preserved detail. Alex and Natalie, our hosts, were incredibly friendly and helpful. They recommended a great place for dinner and served a delicious and accommodating breakfast. the location, a little out of the city, provided a quiet and peaceful atmosphere, yet was still easily accessible to Amsterdam Centraal via a short ferry ride. the portholes in the room added a unique touch, although a sleep mask is recommended. Cons: Nothing, all was excellent! .

During my recent stay at Lightship, I had the most very nice experience. The room I stayed in, the Machinery Space, was not only beautifully decorated but also spacious and luxurious. The massive egg-shaped bathtub was a highlight and provided ultimate relaxation. The separate shower room and toilet added convenience to my stay. The breakfast served in the room was delicious and the hosts were so cute and helpful throughout my entire stay. The location of the Lightship was perfect, situated in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to bars, restaurants, and popular attractions. The short walk to the ferry allowed me to reach Amsterdam Centraal in just a few minutes. The unique and stylish design of the Lightship made it a lovely experience. I highly recommend Lightship for a one-of-a-kind stay in Amsterdam.

Loved the continental breakfast, especially the vegetarian options. The free WiFi was a bonus. The location in Amsterdam Noord was great, with Artis Zoo and Dam Square just a quick distance away.

Our romantic escape at this hotel was absolutely incredible! the rooms were beautifully done up and luxurious, with incredible preserved detail. the massive egg-shaped bathtub in the room was a highlight, perfect for a relaxing soak for two. the hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great recommendations for dinner. the breakfast served on the deck was a lovely touch, and the hosts took into account all our needs. We also loved that the hotel was located in a quiet area, perfect for a restful getaway.

One drawback was the location, which was a bit further from the city center. It was a 15-minute walk to the metro station, but it was only one stop away from the central station.

As those taking off early, we loved the regular ferry connectivity to the city, making it easy to explore Amsterdam.
